BAFTA Games Awards 2020, ecco i vincitori

La pandemia globale continua imperterrita a rinviare o cancellare l’uscita di giochi o lo svolgimento di eventi, ma sembra aver proprio fallito con i BAFTA Games Awards 2020, che si sono svolti regolarmente con una livestream presenziata dal comico irlandese Dara Ó Briain, al quale si sono aggiunti gli sviluppatori premiati tramite l’ausilio di interventi pre-registrati.

A vincere il riconoscimento come miglior gioco dell’anno scorso è stato Outer Wilds, sviluppato da Mobius Digital, che anche ricevuto anche il premio per il miglior game design e per la nuova proprietà intellettuale più originale. Outer Wilds ha battuto la concorrenza nella categoria più prestigiosa di titoli importanti quali Control, Disco Elysium (che si è rifatto alla grande come vedrete), Luigi’s Mansion 3, Sekiro ed Untitled Goose Game.

Molti i riconoscimenti ottenuti da un altro eccellente titolo indie come Disco Elysium, che ha conquistato ben tre premi: Debut Game, Music e Narrative. Ne abbiamo parlato più approfonditamente qui.
